John Richards writes:

I was brought up in a Christian home and came to personal faith in the Lord Jesus when I was about 14 years old, although for several years I had lots of doubts about whether I really was a genuine Christian or not. I studied in Cardiff University where I also met my wife, Katherine.

After graduating and marrying I spend 5 years working and training as an accountant, during which time I began to sense God's call on my life to full time gospel work. I worked as a staff worker for UCCF for 4 years in North Wales before becoming co-pastor at an FIEC church in a small market town in North Wales called Mold. I've been there almost 4 years now. God's given us three lovely children: Erin who's 8, Iestyn who's 4 and Alis who is almost 1!’

John will be giving three talks on the headings -
"Why bother with the Church?"
"I will build my Church.."

Tony Seager

Tony Seager was converted at Reading University in 1968, having previously been strongly atheistic, and started worshipping at Carey Baptist Church in Reading. After university he taught English at secondary level for eight years before a five year spell as the Assistant Pastor at Carey. Since then he has pastored churches in Ayrshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire, where he is at present the minister of Binfield Free Church. He enjoys working with young people and speaks regularly in over twenty local schools. He retired two years ago from the summer youth camp work with the Evangelical Movement Of Wales, having been a chaplain for thirty years in succession. For several years he was an assistant chaplain at a local Youth Offenders’ Institution, only stopping when it closed last year. He has a love for India and has been traveling there annually for ministry since 1990.

Tony will be speaking about some practical aspects of belonging to the local church.
